The "Big" Announcement...We've Expanded!

Hello everyone!!!!

My name is James Thornburgh, and I just joined @mealightenment! Justin and I met in college last semester and we both thought it would be a great idea to work together! So, here I am! I'm very excited to help bring a lot to the table for Mealightenment! 

I am a self-titled "untrained professional chef." I've been cooking for 21 years, but the only training I gathered was either family secrets, or from The Food Network. My cooking style is technicality and experimentation tossed in a skillet and cooked on a medium heat. I love to try new things, and draw inspiration from Italian, Mediterranean, and southern cuisine. 

I am also a true Foodie at heart. I love to travel, and I make it a point to travel for food! If I have heard of an amazing restaurant somewhere, I have to go! This quest for monstrous flavors, titanic proportions, and crave quenching cuisines has driven me to travel all around Indiana, Chicago, New York, Maine, Florida, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, Kentucky, Missouri, and yes even Ohio. I have set my sights to find the best burgers, pizzas, wings, crab cakes, cheese steaks, taco's, hot sauce, rubens, sausages, egg rolls, pork buns, donuts, and countless other desires! I will be bringing you my ventures and sharing my spoils with you on here! I'll even invite you along for the ride!

I have a soft spot for food trucks, and food challenges as well. If you know of something I have to see or try, please let me know! 

I want to thank everyone for the warm welcome, and thank Justin for the opportunity to join with him in the conquest to make your mouths, wallets, and cravings happy!
