There truly is an extreme difference when biting into a "Mexican dish" as opposed to a truly "Authentic Mexican dish". You get that true taste and mixture of herbs, salsa, guacamole, and meat that's cooked a certain way, that you personally cannot perfect yourself. When visiting this restaurant I had a flashback of my cruise to Mexico. Since then, I've never had such an authentic Mexican dish outside of Mexico...until now. And the best part, it will not burn a hole in your wallet!
Carniceria Guanajuato. A Mexican grocery store/restaurant. The grocery specializes in many Mexican meats, sodas, and .. well..pretty much anything to make a delicious authentic dish. Near the back of the grocery. Is a small restaurant that specializes in fresh Tacos for $1.75 each, gigantic burritos for $4.00, and flavorful tortas for $3.50

The burritos are just as big as Chipotle and Qdoba Burritos, and at a cheaper price of $4.00. Your choice of meat with beans, rice, and cheese. Also served with lime and cucumber slices.

Walking into the restaurant gave me a very welcoming feeling. everybody was very polite. The funny thing is, is that the cooks speak Spanish. So when they call out your number for your order. It will NOT be in English. So I'm thankful for the polite crowd of people to help me get my order correct.
So for all the readers, check this out if you are in the mood for some good Mexican food at a cheap price with a great environment. On top of that, a grocery store to get rare, authentic, Mexican food. Go to Carniceria Guanajuato. On 5210 West Pike Plaza Road, Indianapolis, IN, 46254; Or the second location at 3110 North Shadeland Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46226.
As always, Prepare to Eat On,
