Super Salsa in a Bowl...for the Super Bowl

Lets be honest with ourselves. When we buy some salsa at the grocery store we are kind of disappointed at the price, and I'm sure we've all tried to make our own type of salsa and failed miserably. Well ladies and gentleman, failure is not an option for a Super Bowl party!

What you will need:
1 Mango
1 Cup of Chopped Jalapenos
1/2 Cup of Chopped Onions
1 Cup of Chopped Red Bell Peppers
Garlic
Tabasco

First, chop the mango into small chunks. Then simply dump everything else in a bowl with the chunks of mango. It is very important not to waist any mango juice, so make sure all the juice gets poured in there as well. Now, season the salsa with garlic and Tabasco to your liking. Now with most salsa you have to blend it up. You can do this if you would like, but I personally enjoyed the way it looked and tasted, just by being stirred.

Last step is to get some tortilla chips and scoop away!

Enjoy the big game and as always, Eat on.

Chris' Ice Cream...& Tacos?

Chris' Ice Cream - Nora (82nd /Monon Trail)

Recently, while trolling Twitter, I had a friend tell me about a place in Nora that I absolutely had to try.  According to my friend, this place has amazing and inexpensive tacos that give other area restaurants a run for their money.  Now what if I told you that the restaurant was "technically" a homemade ice cream shop?  Weird, right?  The exact same thing I thought...but then the very next thing I felt was intrigue.
