I was hearing people talk about The Tamale Place in regular conversations for a few months now (C'mon, I write a food blog.. You know that people are going to tell me where I should eat). Everyone said that The Tamale Place is the only place you should go to eat tamale's in Indy. I decided to give it a shot a few days ago. Was I completely blown away with the flavors of Mexico... YES! So much so that I went Monday to try the place, and when I started writing this blog on Thursday, I had to go back and try some more of their delicious home made food! At the price, I can make this a staple in my food selection each week. A tamale combo is only 8 bucks! Which comes with a tamale, rice or beans, chips, fresh salsa, and a drink. The taco's are $2.50 each or 3 for $7.25, and are worth every penny!

Chris' Ice Cream...& Tacos?
| Chris' Ice Cream - Nora (82nd /Monon Trail) |

place in Nora that I absolutely had to try. According to my friend, this
place has amazing and inexpensive tacos that give other area restaurants a run
for their money. Now what if I told you that the restaurant was
"technically" a homemade ice cream shop? Weird, right?
The exact same thing I thought...but then the very next thing I felt was
intrigue.

Homemade Sushi, 3-Ways
What the hell have I gotten myself into?
A few weeks ago, my wife and I were grocery shopping. While walking down the International Foods isle, I found a package of seaweed wraps, and thought, "How cool would it be if we made our own sushi?"

TWO WORLDS COLLIDE! (sweet and spicy stuffed peppers)
Before I begin. I must give a shout out to JACKS LINKS for creating the tastiest sweet and spicy beef jerky around.
The idea suddenly came into my mind while I was half way into a bag of JACKS LINKS. Each bite gave me the best of both worlds. So why not incorporate the sweet and spicy idea with one of my personal favorite type of meals to make. STUFFED PEPPERS!

Alternative Pasta Dish - Spaghetti Squash
Other than the recipe that I have for Brussels Sprouts, I don't really have a whole lot of veggie recipes in my cookbook. To be honest, I had never really been a huge fan of veggies until I met my wife, who at the time was a vegetarian. For the sake of not having to prepare two meals each night, she decided to come back to the better side by becoming a carnivore yet again. She has been a big influence on
