Breakfast That Will Send You Straight to Bed (The Deli - Review)
Before I begin, I must state that once Justin and I took a simple glance at DELI'S menu, we stopped, looked at each other and said, "This is going to be a lot of food!"
On a Wednesday morning Justin (blog founder) and I decided to have an early EPIC breakfast. DELI (or The Keystone Deli) was my first thought. A very simple breakfast diner that has good strong coffee to wake you, a very polite staff to serve you, and very large meals that will fill you for the day.
I was craving a skillet like no other. So I decided to go with the "deli skillet" for $8.45. Ham, bacon, and sausage simmered with green peppers, onions, cheese, eggs, and hash browns, then served up with two buttermilk biscuits...and yes if you are wondering, I did finish it like a champ (but barely)!
Justin decided to go with "Uncle Leroy's Breakfast," for $7.95. I'm not sure who Uncle Leroy is, but from the looks of things, the man can eat. Uncle Leroy's breakfast came with two eggs, grits or apple's, a large portion of home fried potatoes, sausage gravy and home made biscuits. Then choose between a ribeye steak, a salmon patty, a hamburger steak, a country fried steak served with gravy, or one pork chop. Yes, a breakfast that will truly send you back to sleep!
The menu had plenty to offer under the $15 range. So if you are in much need of a delicious home cooked style breakfast, be sure to check out DELI. Located at 2344 east 53 street Indianapolis, IN 46220 or give them a call (317)255-2288
